What is Insights 2.0?

Omnia shows how your brand appears in AI search by tracking share of voice, visibility, citations, how you benchmark against competitors, and more.

But monitoring alone doesn't move the needle. There’s always the question, “What now?”.

Insights 2.0 bridges that gap. It tells you exactly what to do to become more visible in AI search.

It takes everything Omnia has observed about your tracked prompts, and turns it into a plan of action. Think of Monitoring as the diagnosis, and Insights as the prescription.

A Honest Look Back at Insights 1.0

Before we get into how Insights 2.0 works, a bit of context.

Insights 1.0 was our first attempt at turning monitoring data into actionable recommendations.

It wasn't great. Insights were generated from your worst-performing prompts rather than the ones you actually cared about, the suggestions were sometimes vague to act on, and the experience felt disconnected from the rest of your workflow.

But it taught us a lot. We learned what "actionable" actually means to you. We learned that recommendations need to be tied to specific prompts, not aggregated across topics.

We learned that brand power should influence which topics you go after, not just how you format content. And we learned that the path to better AI visibility isn't one-size-fits-all.

Insights 2.0 is built on those lessons.

How it Works

With Insights 2.0 Omnia analyzes the monitoring data behind each individual prompt you track, and generates a concrete, prioritized task list tailored to your brand's current position.

The core loop is simple: Monitor → Generate Insights → Act on Tasks → Repeat.

Every insight produces a set of tasks. Once you work through them, you can generate fresh ones.

What Makes an Insight Tick

Omnia analyzes four signals to build each Insight:

1. Citation concentration: Where are the citations for this prompt coming from? If one platform dominates (say, Reddit accounts for 65% of citations), we point you there. If citations are spread out, we focus on the content format that's showing up most.

2. Your current position: Are you leading, competitive, trailing, or absent for this prompt? Your starting point shapes the strategy. Brands with low visibility need to earn presence on third-party platforms first. Brands already in the top three should focus on defending and deepening what's working.

3. Brand power: Not every brand can go head-to-head on high-competition prompts from day one. Omnia calibrates topic difficulty to your brand's authority level, so suggestions are ambitious but actually within reach.

4. Your category: B2B SaaS brands, B2C e-commerce brands, and service businesses play by different rules. Omnia factors in the content types and platforms that tend to work in your space.

Three Main Ways to Improve Visibility

Insights 2.0 identifies three types of actions, depending on what will move the needle fastest for you

Create New Content

When you have no existing presence for a prompt, Omnia recommends building something from scratch, with guidance on format, placement, and length. In practice this could look like:

  • Post on Reddit: "Write an FAQ-style reply in r/running answering 'What are the best running shoes for beginners?' Include a comparison of your brand vs. competitors at different price points." Short, conversational, targets the exact subreddit dominating citations.
  • Publish a blog post: a long-form comparison or how-to guide on your own site, optimized for the formats AI engines tend to cite.
  • Write on LinkedIn: thought leadership targeting B2B prompts where LinkedIn appears consistently in citations.
  • Submit a guest post: to an industry publication that's heavily cited for your topic but doesn't mention your brand yet.
  • Answer on Quora: for informational prompts where Quora threads show up repeatedly in AI responses.

Improve existing content

Sometimes you already have the right content, it just needs upgrading. A few examples:

  • Add a TLDR at the top so AI engines can extract a clean summary
  • Add FAQ schema markup to help AI platforms pull structured Q&A from your page
  • Insert a comparison table vs. competitors into an existing guide
  • Add a "last updated" timestamp to signal freshness
  • Expand thin sections to better match the depth AI engines look for on your topic

These improvements often have higher ROI than creating something new, and Insights 2.0 is built to recognize when that's the right call.

Get featured

For prompts where a single high-authority listicle or roundup dominates citations, the fastest path isn't to create new content — it's to reach out and get included. Examples:

  • Contact a listicle owner: "Runner's World's 'Top 10 Running Shoes' accounts for 40% of citations for this prompt. Reach out to their editor to get your brand added."
  • Pitch a roundup industry "best of" articles on review sites like G2, Capterra, or niche blogs where competitors are listed and you're not.
  • Request a brand mention on a high-authority domain that cites competitors but has never referenced you.

Omnia surfaces the specific URLs where this makes sense and explains exactly why they matter for that prompt.

Tasks You Can Act On

Every task in Insights 2.0 comes with a content brief: what to write, where to put it, what format to use, and why. No guesswork required.

You resolve tasks by marking them complete or won't do.

If a suggestion feels out of reach, you can flag it and Omnia will adapt, offering an alternative prompt, a more accessible placement, or a less competitive topic to build momentum first.

How To Get Started

💡 Insights 2.0 is currently free to use for all users for the next 7 days, after which a credit system will come into effect.

We're opening it up for a few days so you can explore it, try it on your most important prompts, and tell us what you think. Pricing will kick in shortly after. Now's the time to jump in.

Insights 2.0 is available now from the Insights tab in your Omnia dashboard.

  1. Select any prompt or topic you're monitoring.
  2. Click Generate Insights.
  3. Review your task list and start with the highest-impact action.
  4. Mark tasks complete as you go and come back for the next round.
