Omnia now has an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. You can access your entire AI visibility stack directly from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, or any compatible AI assistant. Read data, create brands, set up monitoring, generate insights, analyze sentiment, and manage prompts. All through conversation, without opening the dashboard.
What Is the MCP
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It's an open standard for connecting AI applications to external systems. Think of it as a universal adapter: the Omnia MCP server implements that standard so any compatible AI client can securely access your brand's AI visibility data.
In practice: you already use AI assistants to think, analyze, and plan. The MCP lets you also act on Omnia without switching tabs.
You talk to Claude. Claude talks to Omnia. You get answers, reports, and executed actions without leaving the conversation.
What You Can Do
The MCP covers both read and write operations. You can pull data and take action, all in the same conversation.
Set up and manage monitoring
Create brands, define topics, add the prompts you want to track. Monitoring starts automatically. You can also import keyword trends, tag prompts individually, pause or reactivate topics and prompts, and delete what you no longer need.
In practice, this looks like:
"Create a new brand for Acme Corp, add topics for our three main product categories, and set up 15 prompts based on the keywords we track in Search Console."
Claude creates the brand, builds the topics, adds the prompts. Monitoring kicks in. Minutes later, data flows.
Generate insights on demand
Pick a prompt, trigger insight generation, and get back prioritized tasks: what content to create, where to publish it, which format to use, and why it matters for that specific prompt. Mark insights as complete or dismiss them when done.
"Generate insights for every prompt where our visibility is below 10%, and give me the top 3 actions sorted by impact."
Analyze your visibility
Pull share of voice and visibility data at brand, topic, and prompt level. Filter by date range, competitor, or AI engine. Access the actual AI answers that mention your brand. Benchmark against competitors across every metric.
"Compare our share of voice against [competitor] across all prompts in the 'running shoes' topic, and flag any prompt where they're cited more than twice as often."
Dig into citations and sources
See which sources AI engines cite when they answer questions about your category. Find out which of your owned pages are getting picked up, which third-party sites dominate, and where competitors appear in citations that you don't.
"What third-party sites are being cited most often in our tracked prompts? And which competitor citation sources are we missing?"
Understand how AI perceives your brand
Retrieve sentiment analysis with feature-level breakdowns: where AI endorses your brand, where it criticizes it, and how that compares to competitors. Sentiment data is available at brand, topic, and prompt level, so you can drill into specific categories or zoom out to the full picture.
"Show me the sentiment breakdown for our brand across all monitored prompts. Where are we being endorsed and where are competitors getting credit we're missing?"
Export at scale
Bulk-export brand, topic, and prompt analytics for BI integrations and reporting workflows. Every data point available in the dashboard is also available through the API and MCP.
Who This Is For
Founders and small teams without dedicated SEO or content resources can run their entire AI visibility operation through a single interface. Set up brands, track competitors, generate content briefs, review results. All without hiring.
SEO leads can build and modify prompt libraries at scale, generate insights across hundreds of prompts, and pull citation data into whatever format their reporting needs. Programmatically.
Growth and marketing leaders can give their teams autonomy to set up competitive monitoring, track new categories, and generate actionable briefs without waiting on anyone to configure the tool.
Agencies managing multiple client accounts can start monitoring, pull insights, and build reports for each client through conversational commands. The MCP scopes everything to the authenticated account, so each client's data stays isolated.
How to Get Started
The Omnia MCP server is hosted at https://app.useomnia.com/mcp. Authentication is handled via OAuth: you log in to your Omnia account the first time you connect, and you're set.
It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Claude Code, and any other client that supports the MCP standard.
On Claude.ai: Go to Settings, then Connectors. Click Add Connector, enter https://app.useomnia.com/mcp, and complete the OAuth flow.
On ChatGPT: Go to chatgpt.com/#settings/Connectors, click Add Connector, enter the server URL, select OAuth, and log in.
On Cursor, VS Code, or Windsurf: Add the server URL to your MCP configuration file. Full setup instructions for each client are in the Omnia MCP docs.
Once connected, start with something simple: "Show me my brands in Omnia" to verify the connection works. From there, create brands, add topics, set up prompts, generate insights, or pull any data you need.
